Promotion Tip
: META Refresh And Search Engines
When you change your web site address or a file name on your site, you have
to spread the word to visitors, other sites that link to yours, and search engines. Many
webmasters use the META refresh tag to send visitors to the correct address until everyone's
links are updated. But most don't know that innocent use of that tag may significantly lower
your page rank or even get you banned in some search engines.

CSS Tip
: Cover Your Tables With Style Sheets
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) were supposed to make layout with tables
obsolete. But because of browser incompatibility problems, most Web designers still use
tables instead of style sheets to control layout. This means that style sheets and tables
coexist on the same Web sites. That mixture leads to unexpected problems in some browsers.

Beginner Tip
: Get The Most From Your Domain Name
You've probably heard that "all the good domain names are taken",
but that's just not the case. However, domain names are getting longer and harder to
read at a glance. Make your site's URL easy for visitors to read and remember by emphasizing
it online and in your printed literature. Click here to
